什么是传统?什么是创新?传统与创新之间又是怎样的关系?这些,都是老问题,却始终没有公认的答案。2015年6月,墨卡托基金会在北京尤伦斯当代艺术中心举办了几次沙龙,讨论传统与创新的问题。6月27日,第三场以“同源或异质?谈传统与创新的关系”为主题的沙龙,由文化交流学者阿克曼(Michael Kahn-Ackermann)主持,诗人萧开愚和历史学者艾伊娜(Ines Eben von Racknitz)参与了讨论。本刊辑选该场嘉宾各自的发言,整理成文,以期能予当下的争论以启发。
What is tradition? What is innovation? What is the relationship between tradition and innovation? These are old problems, but there is always no accepted answer. In June 2015, the Mercator Foundation held several salons at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing to discuss issues of tradition and innovation. On June 27, the third salon with the theme of “homologous or heterogeneous talk about the relationship between tradition and innovation” was presided over by Michael Kahn-Ackermann, a cultural exchange scholar, poet Xiao Kaiyu and a historian Ines Eben von Racknitz participated in the discussion. Selected publications of the guests of the field their own speech, organize written, with a view to the current debate to inspire.
