戴维斯杯网球赛(以下简称戴杯赛)创立于1900年,已有100多年的历史。由最初的英、美两国参加,发展到今天的100多个国家和地区每年角逐。它是显示各国网球实力和代表国家荣誉的男子团体赛。由于种种原因,我国到1983年才开始参加这项赛事。当年,戴杯赛分世界组和地区组(欧洲 A 区、欧洲 B 区、美洲区、东方区),中国分在东方区,首战日本。今年的戴杯赛,中国队首战又碰日本队。这里,我们回顾中国队参加戴杯赛初期同日本队的几场对抗,以飨关心我国戴杯赛历史的读者。
Davis Cup Tennis Tournament (hereinafter referred to Dai Cup) was founded in 1900, more than 100 years of history. From the initial participation of Britain and the United States, the development of today’s more than 100 countries and regions compete each year. It is a men’s team event that shows the strength of the tennis in each country and the honor of the country. Due to various reasons, our country did not begin to participate in the event until 1983. In the same year, Dai Cup was divided into world groups and regional groups (Europe A, Europe B, America, Dongfang). China was divided into Dongfang and Japan as the first battle. Dai Cup this year, the Chinese team touched the first battle again the Japanese team.
