录间磁带信号频率比较低,录制带速只有6.75厘米1秒,因此,大量复制录音速带需采用提高带速的方法。录像信号频率比较高,录制时已经采用了磁鼓、磁带机向运动提高速度的方法,若再进一步提高带速实属不易。SONY公司新近推出一种新型高速复制系统“SPRINTER”。它采用一种新的所谓“复印技术”提高录像磁带复制速度。具体作法是采用高质量图像副片母带生产机器,先把要复制的录像带用特殊开发的磁头录制出反转片磁母带;然后再用这种母带与要复制视母频信号的子带紧贴,在水平摆动进给方法驱动下,通过一定的磁场。把母带的视音频信号复制给子带;复制好视音频信号的子带后,再装盒成为完整商品的录像带。这种高速复制系统
