高职院校作为为社会培养专业技术技能型人才的重要基地,为我国经济社会发展培养了各类所需人才。随着我国经济转型的加速,各地重视发展旅游业,在大众旅游背景下,社会对旅游管理专业人才的需求量日益增大,这就需要高职院校立足社会对人才的需求,积极进行旅游管理专业课程设置改革,体现专业特色和实用性,力争培养具备较高专业素质、层次和职业技能的复合型旅游管理人才。
