南昌工程学院是一所以工为主,经、管、艺、文、理、农等多学科协调发展的公办普通本科高等院校,其前身是创建于1958年的江西水利电力学院,现为江西省人民政府与水利部共建,是具有鲜明水利特色的应用型高等院校。2011年9月被教育部批准为“卓越工程师教育培养计划”高校,10月被国务院学位委员会批准开展培养硕士专业学位研究生试点工作。
Nanchang Institute of Technology is a public-run undergraduate colleges and universities which is based mainly on work, economics, management, arts, literature, management, agriculture and other disciplines. Its predecessor was Jiangxi Electric Power Institute of Jiangxi Province, founded in 1958, Provincial People’s Government and the Ministry of Water Resources to build, is a distinctive water conservancy characteristics of applied institutions of higher learning. In September 2011, it was approved as “Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program” by the Ministry of Education, and was approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council in October to carry out the pilot project of training postgraduates with a master’s degree.
