Following the visit of the panel of the U.S. Geological Survey to China in October 1979, Professor Claren R Allen, who headed the delegation, came to China again from February 12 to March 19, In cooperation with the Yunnan Seismological Bureau, the State Seismological Bureau and other units, we conducted more than one month’s field trips on the Red River fault zone.
