The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) plays an important role in the world’s oil production and sales, with the surprises to the engineers that some of these countries are recognized as “rich” and others are at the end of the Third World, No one is considered as a developed country, and this situation has consciously or unconsciously exerted a negative effect on some potential oil countries, causing them to spend large amounts of money on oil exploitation or introducing foreign capital, resulting in “multinational forces” Infiltration into their economy. This situation is not uncommon in the oil development policy of some potential petroleum countries. In view of this, this article reviews Nigeria’s oil development, points out its development trend, experiences and lessons, Some suggestions made by oil-producing countries (especially in developing countries) must be suitable for the status quo of China’s oil development
