《光明日报》1997.5.27第七版上有一篇题为《‘琥珀厅’失踪之迷》的文章,内有一句:1716年,普鲁士皇帝将这座金壁辉煌的琥珀厅作为礼物送给了俄国沙皇彼得大帝……句中的“壁”字是个别字,应为“碧”。“金碧辉煌”这成语的意思是说建筑物华丽精致,光彩夺目。其中“金”指黄色,“碧”指翠绿色。
