1.印度尼西亚是一九七八年十月十六至二十八日在雅加达召开的第八届世界林业大会的慷慨东道国.参加大会的有一百零四个国家和十四个国际组织.2.大会重申了第七届世界林业大会的宣言,其主题是“森林与社会发展的关系”.第八届大会以“森林为人民”为主题,深入地研究了林业如何才能最好地为人类、个人和集体服务.因此大会宣告,为了全世界人民的使用和享受,世界森林必须在永续经营的基础上加以维护.
1. Indonesia is a generous host to the Eighth World Conference on Forestry held in Jakarta from October 16 to 28, 1978. There are 104 countries and 14 international organizations participating in the conference.2 The congress reiterated the declaration of the Seventh World Forestry Congress on the theme of “The Relationship between Forests and Social Development.” With the theme of “Forests as the People”, the Eighth Congress studied in depth how forestry can best serve humanity , Personal and collective services, the General Assembly declared that the world’s forests must be preserved on a sustainable basis for the enjoyment and enjoyment of the peoples of the world.
