2014年7月16日,贵阳市中心城区及所辖各区(市、县)出现一次强降雨过程,中心城区降雨量达201.7毫米,为有气象记录以来的最大值。这次特大暴雨造成全市19.8万多人受灾,8905公顷农作物受灾,359户房屋倒塌和损毁,乌当区、清镇市各有1人失踪。在强降雨警报发出后,贵阳市及时启动防汛抗旱应急响应,采取有效措施科学应对,确保了防汛救灾工作的高效有序。
On July 16, 2014, a heavy rainfall occurred in the downtown area of Guiyang and in all districts (cities and counties) under its jurisdiction. The rainfall in the downtown area reached 201.7 millimeters, the maximum since meteorological records. The torrential rains caused the city more than 198,000 people to be affected, 8,905 hectares of crops damaged, 359 houses collapsed and destroyed, and one in each of Wudang District and Qingzhen City missing. After the issuance of the heavy rain warning, Guiyang launched the emergency response to flood control and drought relief in time and taken effective measures to deal with it in a scientific manner to ensure that flood control and disaster relief work is highly efficient and orderly.
