我们处在一个追求权利的时代,已有的权利不断被重视保护,新的权利也不断被提出而引起关注。“尊重和保障人权”已成为时代的主旋律。我们也处于一个信息爆炸和急速传播的网络公时代,个人隐私一旦暴露可以在极短的时间内传播到世界各地。隐私权作为一项重要的人格权利,它在纷繁复杂的社会生活中合理划定了个人与个人以及个人与公权力间的必要的界限,起着维护个人内心宁静、保护个人私生活秘密的作用,庇护着人的神圣不可侵犯的尊严。公众人物作为一个特殊的群体,其隐私范围较普通人狭窄,其本隐私受到相应限制的同时也应给与切实的保护。
