核果类在果树生产中占着重要的位置。这类果树具有很多优点:生长健壮,结果年龄早,风土适应性强,同时多数可用实生苗繁殖,还能保持品种的特性;种间属间易于杂交,在园艺上已经培育出很多优良品种;全世界各洲从寒温带到亚热带都有野生种,也有栽培种。正因为种类众多,分布广泛,所以核果类植物的分类方法直到现在还存在着不同意见,需待研究讨论,求得统一。
Drupe occupies an important position in fruit tree production. Such fruit trees have many advantages: robust growth, early age results, strong adaptability to terroir, and at the same time, most of them can be used for seedling multiplication, while maintaining the characteristics of breeds. Interspecific inter-genus is easy to cross and many good varieties have been cultivated in horticulture. All over the world from the cold temperate to the subtropical wild species, but also cultivated species. Because of its large number and wide distribution, there are still different opinions on the classification of stone fruit plants.
