One day in early winter, I interviewed famous calligrapher Shi Mu in Changsha. Brilliant sunshine, penetrating the window, Shumu vicissitudes of life on the cheek shone brightly. Mr. Shumu was born in November, 1922 in Laodaohe Town, Changsha County, Hunan Province. His grandfather was a former scholar, reading poetry, his life was gentle and honest.
