福建晋江自唐开元六年(718)置县以来,一直为泉州之首邑。历史的悠久,文化积淀的深厚,广融博采闽越文化、中原文化和海洋文化于一体,使晋江拥有极为丰富的自然景观和人文景观,素有“海滨邹鲁”之称。这里是众多东南亚华侨、众多台湾同胞思念的祖地。自古以来涌现出众多出类拔萃的人才,在史册上熠熠生辉,留下许许多多珍贵的历史和文物遗迹,成为人所景仰的文化胜地。
