Cadmium is a harmful element of the human body, especially its pollutants can accumulate in nature, and can be enriched in the food chain, and through the water - soil - food, water - aquatic organisms and other means into the human body, and poisoning ,even death. Determination of trace amounts of cadmium has been reported in many cases, but most of them were determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The sample was separated by extraction with a sensitivity of 2.5 ppb. However, the determination of trace cadmium in sediments was seldom reported. We use dithizone extraction and separation of cadmium and other elements coexist with ordinary DC polarography and XBD-1 type of rotating glass of carbon and mercury film
