随着科学技术的发展,现在的互联网络日益完善,网上信息数量庞大、更新迅速的特点日渐明显。目前,因特网的用户数正以每月20％～50％的速度递增,平均每一分钟就有100多台主机上网。据统计,截止到2000年就已经有2亿多个用户上网。我国从1987年9月开始连接互联网,近几年的发展也十分迅速。根据中华人民共和国国务院信息办公室和中国互联网信息中心2001年1月17日的《第七次中国互联网络发展状况统计报告》,中国的上网用户数量高达2250万。
With the development of science and technology, the Internet nowadays is getting better and better. The characteristics of the huge amount of online information and rapid updating are becoming obvious. At present, the number of Internet users is increasing at a rate of 20% ~ 50% per month, with an average of more than 100 hosts surfing the Internet every minute. According to statistics, as of 2000, there have been more than 200 million users online. Our country has been connecting to the Internet since September 1987 and its development has also been very rapid in recent years. According to the “Statistical Report on the Development of the Internet in China No. 7” on January 17, 2001 by the State Council Information Office of the People’s Republic of China and China Internet Network Information Center, the number of Internet users in China is as high as 22.5 million.
