Chemistry is an experimental science. Chemistry teaching cannot be separated from experiments. To improve teaching quality, experimental teaching must be strengthened. However, because the entrance examination does not take students’ operating skills into consideration, some teachers do not pay enough attention to experimental teaching, and even have the phenomenon of giving students back experiments. From this it can be seen that strengthening the experimental teaching is only a matter of general appeal. It is necessary to start from solving the ideological understanding of teachers and to improve teachers’ experimental ability as a breakthrough point and fully mobilize teaching.
