用免疫组化法对37例涎腺粘液表皮样癌中角蛋白、波形蛋白和S-100蛋白定位进行观察,发现表皮样细胞和中间细胞呈角蛋白、波形蛋白和S-100蛋白阳性,粘液细胞呈角蛋白和S-100蛋白阳性。肿瘤团块中有些散在梭形、星形或不规则形细胞呈S—100蛋白强阳性;囊腔和腺管腔面细胞基部也有梭形、扁平或不规则形细胞呈S-100蛋白强阳性及波形蛋白和角蛋白阳性。在肿瘤细胞索外周还发现些梭形或扁平细胞是S-100蛋白、波形蛋白和角蛋白阳性。提示,涎腺粘液表皮样癌为上皮源性肿瘤,实质内存在肌上皮细胞,肌上皮细胞与中间细胞似有直接关联。
Immunohistochemistry was used to examine the localization of keratin, vimentin, and S-100 protein in 37 cases of mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the salivary glands. It was found that epidermoid cells and intermediate cells were positive for keratin, vimentin, and S-100 protein, and mucus. The cells are positive for keratin and S-100 proteins. Some scattered tumor-like lumps in spindle-, star-, or irregularly-shaped cells are strongly positive for S-100 protein; cystic cavity and luminal surface cells also have fusiform, flat, or irregularly shaped cells that are strongly positive for S-100 protein. And positive for vimentin and keratin. Several fusiform or flat cells were also found around the tumor cell periphery as positive for S-100 protein, vimentin, and keratin. It is suggested that the mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the parotid gland is an epithelial-derived neoplasm with substantial presence in the myoepithelial cells, and the myoepithelial cells appear to be directly related to the intermediate cells.
