In recent years, the cost of producing concrete bars has been raised. Costs increase many factors, including energy costs and labor costs, but the most important factor is the alloy and micro-alloy, such as vanadium costs account for a large proportion. Vanadium alloy elements added to the steel, usually used to meet the mechanical properties of steel requirements. A growing number of steel producers in the world that still use microalloying to improve the mechanical properties of concrete reinforcement are seeking alternative ways of reducing or eliminating the need for microalloying elements to reduce production costs. The requirements of the latest standards in the United States and abroad were analyzed. The advantages and limitations of new and new technologies for reducing production costs were discussed in detail.
