阮大铖是明末著名的诗人和戏剧家。在他的诗集里 ,除了大量的山水田园诗外 ,还有三、四十首“志时诗”。这些有感于“寇警”、“虏警”和朝政民生的诗歌 ,不仅与作者“诗而不能志时者 ,非诗也”的诗论相吻合 ,而且反映出作者处在人生低谷时期的特殊心态 ,同时也真实地映照出明末社会阶级矛盾、民族矛盾错综复杂 ,朝廷党争激烈 ,百姓痛苦不堪的时代风云 ,具有相当的认识价值
