吴瑞林中将曾于1960-1968年任南海舰队司令员,期间指挥过著名的“八·六”海战等几次海空作战。吴将军晚年曾在家人面前,对着录音机全面回顾了他充满传奇色彩的一生。本文是吴将军之子吴继云根据录音整理的。因篇幅有限,编者对原文作了适当删节。2005年正值是瑞林将军逝世10周年,也是他90岁寿辰,特发表此文,以志纪念。
Lieutenant Wu Ruilin was commander of the South China Sea Fleet from 1960 to 1968, during which he conducted several well-known naval and naval combat operations. In his later years, General Wu had been in front of his family and had a full review of his legendary life in front of the recorder.
