该楼建在台北市辛亥路入口处台湾大学校区内。用地面积9234平方米,基底面积3647平方米,建筑面积11573平方米。地下一层,地上四层,总高16.6米。1987年建成。平面呈U形对称布置,以强调基地的中轴线。入口大门设在中轴线上,其与正立面形式相呼应的门廊,更加强化了建筑物的对称性。U形平面的中央设公共使用空间,如办公室、会议室等,两侧为研究实验室、教学实验室等。国际会议
The building was built at the entrance to the Taiwan University campus in Taipei’s Xinhai Road. The land area is 9,234 square meters, the base area is 3,647 square meters, and the construction area is 11,573 square meters. The ground floor, four floors above ground, total height of 16.6 meters. Completed in 1987. The U-shaped plane is symmetrically arranged to emphasize the central axis of the base. The entrance gate is located on the central axis, and the porch that echoes the front facade form reinforces the symmetry of the building.
