当前,我国火山岩区找矿探勘工作有了蓬勃发展.在火山岩区工作,首先碰到也是急需解决的有两个问题:一是火山岩的命名及鉴定,一是次火山岩的概念及主要特征.这两个问题在国内外的看法都很不统一,有些方面争论还很大.我自己由于实践较少,理论较低,对上述两个方面也正在学习和摸索之中.但同志们要求我谈谈,只能勉为所难,讲些很不成熟的看法.对第一个问题只谈火山岩中最重要的岩石——熔岩的命名和鉴定,为了配合玢岩铁矿的找矿,对第二个问题,主要以宁芜地区为例,介绍-下次火山岩的概念及某些特征.
