词汇是构成语言的三大要素(语音、词汇、语法)之一,掌握足够的词汇是成功运用外语的关键,没有词汇就没有能运用所学结构和功能的意念。自学校2003年引入牛津英语教材以来,词汇教学的难度就日益凸显出来,信息量大、涉及面广、大词汇量是这套教材最突出的特点,仅7A的词汇量就已相当于旧教材初中三年的词汇量,所以如何进行有效的词汇教学,在相同的课时内,帮助学生掌握更多的词汇,是每位教师面临的挑战。牛津英语教材伴随作者走过了7个年头,作者总结了有关牛津英语词汇教学的感悟,通过本文与大家分享。
Vocabulary is one of the three major elements (voice, vocabulary and grammar) that make up a language. Having enough vocabulary is the key to successfully using a foreign language. Without vocabulary, you can not apply what you learn about structure and function. Since the introduction of the Oxford English teaching material in 2003, the difficulty of vocabulary teaching has become increasingly prominent.
