During the 12th Five-Year Plan period, the number of large and medium-sized tractors owned by rural areas increased from 1.4 million to 3.84 million, the number of small tractors increased from 15.4 million to 17.8 million and the number of combine harvesters increased from 477,000 to more than 97,000 station.
