党的十一届三中全会以来,邓小平在新的历史时期深刻总结了中国社会主义革命和建设史,国际共产主义运动史和世界现代化发展史的经验教训,敏锐的地把握时代发展的脉搏和契机,既继承了前人又突破成规,重新思考了“什么是社会主义,什么是马克思主义”等重大问题,形成了有中国特色的社会主义理论,形成马克思主义中国化的第二个理论形态,把马克思主义推进到一个新阶段,对马克思主义中国化做出了突出的贡献。
