《交通世界》1997年9月曾经做过“减肥”,因为当时的8开本很不合群,报摊都说不好挂。改成16开本后,有读者来信反对;也有行家说8开本杂志是一种发展趋势,《交通世界》只不过超前了。1999年伊始,果然一批8开本赫然浮出水面。《北京电视》、《北京青年》……《交通世界》的编辑们看着它们是那么似曾相识。当然,我们并不后悔,因为事物总是一分为二的,8开本杂志有长处也有短处。对于一本汽车杂志来说,16开本还是更合适一些。
