The factors influencing the evenness of asphalt concrete pavement are introduced. The measures to improve the smoothness of pavement are elaborated from the aspects of ground treatment before embankment filling, embankment packing and compaction, improvement of drainage facilities, pavement base construction and road surface pavement .
