Japan’s NTT (Telecommunications Telephone Company) recently developed a new generation of broadband communications technology that is hundreds of times larger than today’s high-speed, high-volume communications. It can send 10 ~ (15) bytes of information per second. With this technology, one million different animated images can be simultaneously transmitted. With current communication technology, the transmission distance is only 70 km. Using the technology developed by NTT, the transmission distance can be extended to over 500 km.
