白先勇在中国传统戏曲与西方文学的影响下 ,确立了“戏剧化”的小说创作观念。其代表作《台北人》贴合戏剧功能 ,隐含了许多诉诸于集体而非个人的深层内容 ,并且在小说的技巧上也体现出较快速度、较大压缩和较多生动性的特点。
Under the influence of traditional Chinese opera and western literature, Bai Xianyong established the concept of “dramatic” novel creation. His representative masterpiece, “Taiwanese”, fits in with the drama function, implying a lot of deep content appealing to the group rather than the individual, and also shows the features of faster speed, greater compression and more vividness in the novel’s skill.
