《外语研究》这个名称赋予了刊物一个繁重的任务。外语有多少?即使国内教授的外语也不下十几种。研究的范围又有多大?仅就理论探讨和应用研究两个方面而言,与那么多语种的语言、文化、文学、翻译、外语教学一结合,那林林总总,方方面面,内容之多不言而喻。然而20年来《外语研究》在这样的任务面前,却能统筹兼顾,全面推进外语研究。这表现在下面四个方面。 1.既重视语言学学术前沿的理论进展,又重视吸收经典理论的精华。20年来,尤其是近5年来,《外语研究》刊登了许多对认知语言学、隐喻研究、关联理论、评价理论、话语分析的理论探讨,如《认知与自然语言
The name “foreign language studies” gives the publication a heavy task. How many foreign languages do you have? Even dozens of foreign languages are taught by domestic professors. What is the scope of the study?
