Case Summary Adaptation is the process by which an individual actively changes his environment or changes his original state in order to obtain the desired indirect satisfaction. New living and learning environments, new relationships and different learning strategies and methods of high school are the main content of freshmen's adaptation. Freshmen's adaptability directly affects the students in high school stage of learning, living conditions. Adapting to high school life for students who live for the first time will have an impact on the establishment of their own adaptation modes and thus on the students' adaptation to similar situations later on.
