在大学英语教学中,动物成语一直以来都没有作为一个单独的课题来进行讲解,而英语中的动物成语来源广泛,种类繁多,是英语语言中非常有趣的一部分。适当的讲解能够提高学生在大学英语课堂中的学习积极性。教师在大学英语课堂中如何进行英语动物成语的教学,才能提高学生的语言能力,让学生在听说读写译各个方面都能正确地使用动物成语,是本文探讨的主要内容。笔者认为,要更好地进行英语动物成语的教学,可以在教学过程中通过对动物成语的来源进行分析,并使用分类以及对比的方法来帮助学生更好地学习英语中的动物成语。
In college English teaching, animal idioms have never been explained as a single subject. English idioms come from a wide variety of sources and are very interesting parts of English. Appropriate explanation can improve students’ enthusiasm for learning in college English class. How can teachers improve the students’ language ability by teaching English idioms in college English class so that students can correctly use animal idioms in all aspects of listening, speaking, reading and writing, which is the main content of this paper. In the author’s opinion, in order to better carry on the teaching of English animal idioms, we can help students better understand the animal idioms in English through the analysis of the origin of animal idioms and the classification and comparison methods.
