In principle, the transmission of one X-PAD data set can be interrupted by another X-PAD data set. There is one exception to this principle: the X-PAD data set length flag and the following starting X-PAD data set (eg X-PAD data set using application type 12 or 14) are not interrupted by another X-PAD data set. This ensures a tight and unique connection between the specified X-PAD data set length flags and the X-PAD data set.
