For example, the group evaluation method adopted by HAPLR is reasonable, the evaluation result is easy to calculate, and the index setting of LJI is more suitable to the actual demand. Through the analysis, the author draws the following conclusions: The evaluation of American public libraries has a significant role in promoting the libraries and their alliances; the focus of the evaluation of public libraries in the United States has become more and more important.
