在西安市东风车辆厂开门办学能西安交通大学锻压专业的师生,密切结台教学和工厂技术改造任务,1976年完成了中型轴类零件车轴冷缩新工艺的试验研究。该工艺具有节约材料、生产效率高、易于实现自动化,大大降低工人劳动强度等优点。生产效率和旧工艺相比可提高近十倍,可以代替二十台切削机床。对农机行业技术改造,加速实现我国农业机械化都具有现实的意义。
