As the airline currently providing the largest number of flights to and from Fujian, Xiamen Airlines held a grand “Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Singapore Airlines” in Singapore on April 25. Zhang Xiaokang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Singapore, and Huang Wenliang, Director of Civil Aviation of Singapore attended the ceremony and made speeches. He Lifeng, secretary of the Xiamen Municipal Committee under his inspection in Singapore, and Chen Xiangxian, deputy minister of Organization Department of Fujian Provincial Party Committee, also specially attended the ceremony. Ambassador Zhang Xiaokang fully affirmed Xiamen Airlines’s performance in CAAC and expressed the hope that Xiamen Airlines will play its due role in the closer and closer bilateral cooperation between China and Singapore.
