INTRODUCTION With the increasingly open and transparent statistics of the Chinese government, the coordination between the administrative indicators and the statistical indicators of China’s macroeconomic operation has drawn much attention from industry, academia and the public. Some scholars at home and abroad have also questioned the match between China’s statistics, especially GDP and related economic data.
