沥青马蹄脂碎石混合料(SMA)是近年来国内外非常流行的一种路面结构材料。SMA具有优良的高温稳定性、低温抗裂性、抗滑性能和防水性能等表面特性以及良好的耐久性、一定的降噪声等优良的路用性能。在使用中人们发现要保证SMA路面发挥其重要作用,其技术关键一方面不仅在于原材料品质和SMA配合比设计优劣,更重要的一方面还在于实体工程的施工工艺所达到的预期压实、密水及抗滑效果等。本文以甘肃临合项目上面层SMA-13施工为背景,根据项目沿线的气候特点和原材料特点,主要论述上面层SMA-13混合料的室内配合比研究及现场实体工程施工工艺的应用情况,意在为北方寒冷地区高速公路沥青路面施工积累经验,为今后相关工程施工提供参考意见。
