During the session of the 16th General Assembly of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Foreign CAS Members were invited to give advice on a series of issues, including the national plan to build an innovation-oriented country and promote homegrown innovation, the reform of Chinese R&D system, and the new strategy of CAS highlighting the importance of democracy, openness and talents.
