我省建材及非金属矿品种齐全,花岗岩、大理岩资源比较丰富。如南墅石墨、青岛崂山花岗石、掖县雪花白大理石等矿产品是国内外的畅销货,在国际市场上有较强的竞争力,成为我省出口创汇的主要来源之一。但是,在我省某些地方,对基建前期的地质工作却没有引起足够的重视,个别地方和单位在制定建材发展规划,确立基建项目,建材非金属矿山的技术改造、改建、扩建及矿山生产和建设中,因缺乏地质资料而使项目的决策缺乏足够依据,影响了投资效益。如烟台某玉石加工厂,在未做好地质工作的情况下,仓促与外商
