导演的创作除了向全体创作人员深入地阐述剧本和帮助启发演员准确地塑造人物外,最实际的课题,就在于能否准确地创作新的演出样式。其成败的标志在于这个演出形式既能使观众得到美的享受,又能让观众感受到全剧演出的深层意蕴。换个角度说,就是能否达到既有利于戏曲特色的发挥,又适合于现代观众审美的需求。我们对京剧《拜相记》的创作和构思,就是基于对这些课题的思索。
