网络语言的产生要从1982年9月20日说起,IBM公司的研究员斯科特·法尔曼在BBS上留言的时候,突然灵机一动在文末附上一个“:-)”。从此,冷冰冰、技术化的电脑“笑”了起来。渐渐地,网络上形成了一些特定的语言甚至符号,在网民中间广为流传。“:-)”在网络上大行其道,这种极其简约的方式充分表达出的一种愉悦情绪,比任何精心编织的文字都要有效,网络交流开始流转着自己特有的人情味道。但是也有人对此表达了相反的观点,他们认为应该规范网络语言,防止网络语言无休止地将汉语演变下去。
