The 5th Paralympic Games of the People’s Republic of China was held in Shanghai from May 6 to 14 this year. Games Organizing Committee was formally established in Shanghai on February 22. Li Ruihuan, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, and honorary chairman of the China Disabled Persons’ Federation, served as honorary chairman of the Organizing Committee.
