The process of preparing lessons for teachers is actually doing two things—understanding and designing. Understanding what? Understanding subjects, understanding courses, understanding teaching materials, understanding students, and then doing instructional design on the basis. Teachers are generally very instructive in teaching. The role of the textbooks is emphasized, but the textbook should not be studied purely in the mind.
