自1965年在湖北兴山县证实肺吸血虫病流行区以后,又陆续在鄂西的鹤峰、巴东等县发现肺吸虫病的流行区,引起医务工作者的关切和注意。五峰县邻接鹤峰县,近几年来不断有肺吸虫病例出现,为了摸清肺吸虫病流行情况,在宜昌地区卫生防疫站的统一领导下,于1978～1979年对全县肺吸虫病进行了初步流行病学调查,现将调查结果报导如下:一、人群感染的调查1、调查方法:
