It is no accident that professor Harvard University and Garbratts Economic Adviser at the U.S. Democratic National Committee named “wealthy society” as one of the 20 most popular “bestsellers” in the capitalist countries of the West in 1958. In this book, he created a new term for capitalism: “a wealthy society,” in which no economic crisis is said to have reached a common prosperity. In order to defend the interests of monopoly capital, Galbretz attributed the malpractices of the capitalist system itself to those of the economic policies of capitalist countries to the “sense of custom” of all citizens; in order to save through dictatorial measures the dying Of capitalism, but also put forward the so-called “cyclical grading subsidy” for the unemployed in essence that it is merely an attempt to systematically redistribute the workers’ income throughout the United States. A comment we have just translated here provides only some views of the book from the general bourgeois journals. A critical analysis of Marx from the Marxist standpoint can be found in Issue 5 of 1959, Peace and Socialism Magazine K · Blonden contained “who is rich?” Article.
