民间美术扎根于劳动人民的生活,犹如艺术的海洋。人们尽可以从各种不同的角度进行分类,但都很难概括一切,因为它在历史的长河中无时不在延续着、生长着、发展着。在艺术的分类学中,通常把美术分作绘画、雕塑、建筑、工艺等,民间美术也无例外地分布于这些领域,并非另外一个门类。它不仅是一切美术发展的基础,专业美术家开发民族艺术的宝藏,而且是自生自长、永不衰竭的艺术源泉。为了有助于向民间美术学习,以下不作系统分类,仅将我国民间美术中之荦荦大者,举出若干,以作介绍。
Folk art is rooted in the working people’s life, like art of the ocean. It is very difficult for people to classify everything from a variety of perspectives, because it is constantly undergoing, growing and developing in the course of history. In the taxonomy of art, art is often divided into paintings, sculptures, architecture, crafts, etc. Folk art is also without exception distributed in these areas, is not another category. It is not only the foundation of all art development, professional artists to develop the treasure of national art, but also a self-sufficient, never-ending art source. In order to facilitate the study of folk art, the following is not classified systematically, only to mention some of the great people in folk art in our country for introduction.
