锡林郭勤盟东部的天然次生林区,是大兴安岭向西南延伸的余脉。在这一次生林区,有他本庙,迪彦庙两个经营林场,经营面积共253万多亩,其中有林地23万多亩。主要树种是白桦和山杨,同时还杂生一些其它乔灌木。木材总蓄积量52万立方米,年生长量约为1200立方米。这一地区的天然次生林,对锡盟的生产和群众生活至关重要。不仅有提供林副产品的作用,还有涵养水源、保持水土、调节气候、促进权牧业生产的作用。为了充分发挥这些天然资源应有的经济效益,对两个体场今后的经营工作,提出以下几点浅见。 (一)增加森林覆盖率,保持生态平衡。森林资源是发展林业生产的基础。要提高林场的经济效益,必须使现有的森林资源不断得到扩大和发
