As of February this year, the U.S. economy will achieve the longest period of growth after World War II. During this period, the strong capability of technological innovation and its tremendous role in promoting economic development were particularly prominent. Economists generally agree that “exponential growth in inventions and patents” is a huge driver of U.S. economic growth over the past decade. Over the past 10 years, technological innovation in the United States has the following three major characteristics. First, an endless stream of new inventions. On December 7 last year, Samcon won the 6th invention patent in the history of the United States. Last year, Sanken applied for a total of 426 invention patents, three years ago, only 30 items. It took 85 years for the United States to reach the first million patents, and the number of patents increased from 5 million to 6 million in just eight years. In recent years, the largest increase in invention patents in the United States is in the fields of computer, communications and biotechnology. Second, the speed at which technological inventions are transformed into productive forces is greatly accelerated. A study by the Institute for Progressives Policy found that it took 35.5 months for a U.S. company to launch a new product in 1990 to 1995
